Well, that points me in the right path. It seems to be a license thing with CR like you said, and also a regional thing. Some regions everything is kosher, some regions lose some shows and gain others, apparently, australia doesn't get nearly as much as USA/NA, so I should count my blessings :o.

Games are meant to be fun. Those old games you mentioned had various methods for people to get accustomed to the game... including health handicaps, basic maps, gun and movement w/o perks etc. They were basic fps like duke nukem and doom, with jump.
