It’s cool to see Banner Saga and Gone Home come to consoles. And PC gets Dragons Dogma in return. Nice trade. Everybody wins.

Oh, right. Dragon Quest VII and VIII on the 3DS. And maybe if we’re extremely lucky DQXI will see a localization anouncement.

Next year: Final Fantasy XV, Cosmic Star Heroine, Persona 5, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam... What else?

Don’t remember hearing about any of these.

I wouldn’t count it out.

If the books are anything to go by, then if Geralt left Yen for Triss, Yen would just straight-up kill them both.

Didn’t realize the expansion was out. I might take a look at it. I just couldn’t get into this Dragon Age like the first two. In Inquisition, the lore was all secondary or even tertiary to building up your army/influence, unlike in Origins where it was integral to what you were doing.

Maybe I’m just used to crazy Portal speedruns and portaling tricks.

That’s great. But why? Why would you ever want to do this?

How so? Streaming a low resolution image to a higher resolution screen doesn’t make the image any sharper. It’s usually the opposite.

But now how will people complain that it’s somehow Nintendo’s fault that Best Buy has shitty policies?

From what I’ve seen, the game’s performance is heavily dependent on the CPU and on the hard drive, thanks to the DRM’s continuous decryption and the huge reliance on texture streaming.

Cosmic Star Heroine is coming to the Vita (and PS4, PC, and Mac). It looks good, but it’s difficult to see anything saving the Vita at this point, let alone a single indy game.

think of it as a shooter for the Nickelodeon generation.

More bloatware to deal with. How’s about a HELL NO.

They made a sequel to the Wii U Pro Controller?

They made a sequel to the Wii U Pro Controller?

It’s not like Mass Effect 3. Multiplayer is an entirely separate thing.

This whole thing just reeks of jumping the gun on implementing a system without thinking through what the consequences would be. You have to be prepared for people that will try to exploit your system. It’s a basic part of planning.

Every game eventually becomes “an older title that is not as popular as it once was”. That’s why it’s dumb to sink money into games that will get shut down, and why the gaming industry NEEDS to see someone develop an end-of-life plan for online games that involves an off-line conversion or the release of hosting

MXC still is the best.
