Manuals are also way easier now.

Can confirm. Daily drive a manual through Boston traffic and never want for an automatic.
I sit in SoCal traffic every day in a manual car, about an hour and a half each way. Don’t want to crawl into a dungeon. Would buy another.
A 5 year old Ferrari 458 is better than the NSX in every measurable metric as well as every subjective aspect.
FUCK YOU ALFA!
I’d rather have a shitty manual than a great automatic though....
Please leave asshole.
Holy shit. No manual for the Giulia Quadrifoglio?
There is an Alfa dealer next to the BMW dealer. As soon as the Giulia arrived, I was planning to go test drive it against an M3 and buy the one I liked best. I may still do it, and then tell the Alfa guys they lost a sale because they decided their car is just for…
His statement about buying an M5 and years worth of tires and fuel for the same price is where this car ends for me. That and how fast it drains the battery when you are actually driving it. If I drove it like my Viper it would probably be out of juice by the time I got to work lol.
Autopilot is for the boring stuff. Driving the car yourself is for the fun stuff.
It is worse than that really. Almost 80% of the 60 kwh units end up with at least one drive unit replacement, about 14% have two, nearly 4% have to have three done, and the distribution runs at 1% for four and another 1% for five or more replacements.
No I'm not, a transmission and engine combo is no where near the 46k list price unless we are talking exotics at which point you just rebuild the engine or trans.
According to the in house billing on repair notes under warranty, the 60kwh drive units run around $6,000 and the associated battery pack around $40,000. Off waranty I would expect a steep markup over in house numbers, at least 20% and almost certainly much more.
So you’re telling me that it’s cheaper to buy and run a $70k car that needs downtime to charge than it is to buy and run am 8 year old Subaru that can go for 24hrs straight if need be?
Having to wait 30-45 minutes per charge to get another 150 real miles range does not sound sweet...
“ball joints and wheel bearings”
Agreed. Last year I bought a used truck with 100,000 miles on it.
drive unit? you mean entire thing that makes the car run? sounds very serious/major
I feel like Jalopnik is the only reviewer that has said the new NSX is a great car...are you guys getting paid by Honda?
I need at least two drinks to even think about GOING to a party.
