I currently daily drive a 2003 6 Speed 540i and it's hands down my favorite car that I have ever owned. It really is spectacular to drive and not one creak or rattle 11 years in.

Well, I honestly do not see any plastic on the exterior of the 458. All grills are made of metal, the only "plastic" that I see are the functional air vanes that are moving aero parts, and those are carbon fibre...I'm just saying, Mclaren should do it right if they are trying to be like Ferrari.
