Understood, but then Hondas, and indeed Japanese cars in general are in relatively short supply in European markets that aren’t the UK. It was unusual to have a Civic of any sort in mainland Europe, let alone an EK.
If its got a multimatic (aka CVT) I doubt there's a B16 under the hood. I forgot where but I read they only paired the CVT with engines up to 130 ps. Anymore above that and reliability was compromised. I could be totally wrong though.
Europe and Japan only, and the European versions were five door hatchback Domanis, usually, not EKs.

You know, in my mind there’s a huge list of cars that I’d impulse buy if I happened to have the money and a good example popped up. It’s full of things like Ladas. So this makes perfect sense to me (runs off to look at a ‘79 AMX).
