Man, what I wouldn’t give to hear Julia Sugarbaker give that odious soggy Cheeto the business, Night-the-Lights-Went-Out-in-Georgia-style.

Honestly Senator, that comment didn’t get any traction in the debate. What makes you think it’ll do you any good here?

Well, there it is right there.

it’s just a picture of legs that cuts to an image of a man standing in a burning house and he has a goat head and his eyes are the black of the void and then it cuts back to an image of legs with paint on them and then it’s the goat headed man and he’s closer to the foreground and I can smell sulfur and then it cuts

Wow gee, I didn’t know that! Thank you so much for the condescension.

I would like to reiterate that some people have stubborn bodies. I know women who run triathlons and eat very well and still have what society considers “fat” on their bodies. Just because eating well and working out worked for you doesn’t mean it’s actually that simple for all body types and metabolisms, and dumping

Let’s be clear about something...

I was 16, my first visit to the gynecologist, a woman, who had previously been my mom’s doctor. I was there with my Mom, who introduced us and said to her “isn’t my daughter pretty?” And the doctor looked at me and said “mh yes you are pretty, but you are not as pretty as your mother”.

I have this argument all the time in my field. “We can’t give the job to a woman or reward a woman because there simply weren’t enough qualified ones to pick from.”

a. the idea that they should give it to a woman “just because” only makes sense if you think that the literary output of women is somehow inferior both on an individual and collective basis.

What’s really insulting is that they stretched the definition of the category in order to give it to a white man.

Mastress. Make it happen.

Ok, then. I noted that I wasn’t really intending to be tart, and you escalated to “assfuck”. You obviously have a firm grasp on proportionality and discourse. Have a *blessed* evening.

I’m grossed out by people who have problems with age differences.

Really? Age difference is still a thing?? I wear white after Labor Day. Dad’s black and Mom is white. Same sex marriage finally exists. How about the consenting adults thing? Kinda ageist, no?

This kinda feels like this crossing the line. What the woman did was wrong, ironic, kinda funny, but she didn’t harm anyone, and I thought her getting fired in the first place was too much.

You do realize that a pro-woman discussion of female comics allows Maria Bamford and Amy Schumer to co-exist? Schumer’s success is only a detriment to Bamford if you believe that women inherently must compete with one another and that there’s only room for one of them.

Tell us: how did it feel to get tossed out of the show last night?
