The funny thing is that Fate/stay night contains porn in the first place. This really is a "porn based on a porn". :-P

All of the porn films featured in this article are produced within Japan. In Japan, it is illegal to sell or distribute "obscene" material. Therefore all porn films produced in Japan are censored. It is, of course, possible to import uncensored porn from other countries.

They use mosaics. In other words, they "pixellate" both the male and female genitals. Boobs are safe, though.

Now playing

You missed out Higurashi ga Naku Koro ni, a porn parody of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. They actually do make the effort of telling the story, complete with the game's original music and everything. Oh, and extremely bad acting. :-P

Cool, looking forward to seeing more articles about the East. I do hope there will be greater coverage of more 'niche' and 'wacky' games which aren't so popular in the West. :-)

Believe me, Cammy was one of the first characters I tried guessing the image for. Alas, it didn't exist. :-(

This is definitely legit. I was able to find these images on their website, though they've now been removed.

There is no way to capture from a Nintendo DS without taking the system apart. Footage is captured using a standalone system, the IS-NITRO-CAPTURE (see attached video, [youtu.be] ), which is expensive and difficult to get hold of.

I guess Microsoft want Xbox to be their single brand for gaming. It might be confusing to have multiple brands, and it helps keep things organised, etc.

I'm just thinking of how in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show!!, Mario and Luigi were fixing the plumbing in a bathroom. They were then sucked down the drain and into the Mushroom Kingdom! Hmmm... it sure it taking a long time to clear that drain. The customer is probably getting really impatient by now. xD

I'm actually perfectly fine with this. Used game sales seriously hurt the games industry, so if there is the need, then publishers should be able to use techniques like this to prevent it.

Oh wow, I sure hope that if the data gets corrupted, you aren't left with a broken Game Card! I suppose they could just write the new save data beside the old save data, then delete the old save data when the new save data is complete.

Really? I suppose it might be possible. Actually, I wonder if The Mushroom Kingdom isn't just a massive sewage system. All the Goombas and Koopa Troopas are blocking up the drains, so Mario has to clear them away by jumping on them. :-P

Yay! It's working! :-D

If Kotaku wanted to use YouTube, they could have just negotiated to use YouTube, simple as that. They don't need to own the content to upload it, it's fine as long as they have the rights to it. Also, it would probably involve Kotaku becoming a YouTube partner, for which the 15 minute limit does not apply.

You can watch each episode whenever you want after it's been published. There is no live streaming.

One of the cool things is that the cutscenes used large images. The NES could only handle small sprites, so they had to be put together like a jigsaw puzzle to create the effect of a large image. Not a lot of games did this, so the cutscenes in Ninja Gaiden were quite special for the time.

Nice localisation work there, Kotaku!

Don't worry, it's an actual video so you can watch it whenever you want. It's not a live stream if that's what you were thinking. :-)

Before Mario, there was Jumpman. Before Jumpman, there was Mr. Video. Before Mr. Video, there was Ossan. It's funny how these things work. xD
