No I haven't, but this is a race team which I'm sure can afford it. BTW, why wouldn't a standard type maual work, such as a Haynes?

They're a race team though, shouldn't they have an electronics diagram?...and if not, at least access to a schematic online.
Interesting, thanks a lot for the reply.
It looked controlled to me.
I'm all for motor swaps, but that would just be a waste of a limited V10.
Could you explain why you didn't like the '08?
I totally agree, the E9x 335i with a reflash was quicker than an M3. I recall seeing a 335ix on youtube that had a JB3 ecu flash, it got to 60 in 3.7 seconds, this new M3 better have a healthy does of hp AND torque to further distance itself from the lesser models.
Headlights and exterior pieces are definitely easier.
+1
We're not bitching because it's GM, we're bitching because it seems to have stolen styling cues and it's also ugly as shit.
The 1.4 liter and 2.4 liter motors seems like they overlap a bit, one has more torque while the other has more hp. Different characteristics for possibly similar performance between the two?
Well for one, it's a hybrid, which will raise its weight. Secondly, a supercar with 400 hp, that just won't cut it.
I totally agree, a low displacement V8 would be nice in this. It would stand out too, as it seems like V8's are going extinct.
Correction* "Is America the new Chinese?"
The 2000+ Eclipse V6 was 3100 lbs, the 4 cylinder model wasn't even 2800 lbs. If the Eclipse really weighed that much then it might have been a decent car. BTW, Wikipedia's listed curb weight is wrong.
It's more than just the turbo and intercooler that add weight. There could be a heavier, sportier wheel and tire combo, heavier and sportier seats, suspension, turbo manifold, bigger diameter exhaust, etc.
The Veloster's powerband seems to be the best of the 5, complimenting its engine with the highest power-per-liter very nicely. The Hyundai is also the hands down winner in the exterior design department. (Irony...I just saw a Veloster commercial as I was writing this)
I like it, it's a good departure from the Mazda Speed 3 's smiley face
It's probably a thin stretch of glass with some LED's in it.
This rendering has a very Audi-like appearance, even down to the double-five spoke wheels. The front end is nice though.
