Poor kid. I cannot imagine the paranoia/fear/anger that must be triggered in a young artist whose performance venue has been the scene of such tragedy, such horror. I keep thinking of the tailspin Amy Schumer went into after the cinema shooting during one of her films. It must take tremendous, unseen courage to move

This entire paragraph was beautiful in its truth and brutality. Well done, Rich.

He was singing “Bah-bah-bah, bah-bah-bra-ann.”

Off topic, but this is weirding me out.

I hate Annie Leibovitz and her ugly and boring brown filters. But will buy this VF - I’ll hunt down one with Carrie on the cover.

Charlemagne has been saying this forever and every he does a black woman is like hey I have a radio show/podcast/blog. Maybe you could promote me and I can be a voice. And then he yells at them for trying to get free advertising.

My mom is 70 years old... if some smug bitch did this to her, I swear to god I would beat her senseless.

When this happened I felt visceral vicarious shame as a fat person who goes to the gym. I couldn’t bring myself to go into the locker room for weeks. Fuck this woman and her sorry excuses.

The poster is great but I can’t help thinking that she looks more like Mia Wasikowska and JLaw had a baby.

That poster is sweet as hell. Certainly a refreshing break from most movie posters we see nowadays.

(The 22 year age difference between the leads is a little ... ew. Unless the age difference is part of the story, but I sort of doubt it, because Hollywood: Where leading men keep getting older, but their leading ladies

I don’t care how mind numbingly stupid this movie looks, I want to see it.

tfw you’re done using black culture for profit and moving onto your Colbie Caillat phase.
