I think Acura's entire brand hinges on people who don't know any better. For every car in Acura's lineup, there is a significantly better competitor at the same price point.

I think the real problem for Acura is that it is run too much like its parent company. Acura doesn't take any real chances with its cars, and it doesn't bring anything new to the table. Since the NSX, Acura has been nothing more than re-badged Hondas that weren't all that much better.
