It just felt derivative to me. If you're going to do Motown dancing — why bother if you're not going to do it BETTER than those original guys. The whole thing felt lazy to me — "Look, I'm doing Motown. Look, I'm doing 1980s." But if you're not doing it better, why bother?

I thought this show was fine, but nothing memorable. He's a talented guy, but it didn't feel special enough for the situation.
