In general, Michael, you’re right, however it’s not just white people. It’s all people. Most people fear retribution for speaking up against those that are racist or bigots or bullies in general. I feel our country and our world is lacking in the ability to stand up and call out injustice for fear of retaliation.

Similar thing happened to my brother. Jury was hung and judge kept pushing them back in a room telling them they must reach a verdict, over and over until they realized that they weren’t going to leave unless they convicted him.
