Too sad, I’ll pass right now.
Too sad, I’ll pass right now.
It’s okay, I love you.
SORRY. It’shttp://www.cbcmusic.ca/thehip for the concert. Looks like cbc.ca will still show the Olympics live.
Doesn’t violate any rule on the final straightaway, as long as they don’t impede any other runner, which they didn’t.
I dunno anything about its benefit for modern Olympians, but I broke my arm two years ago and had a few difficulties with how it functioned, until I saw a physiotherapist last fall. She taped my arm “back” and “up” (her words) over a period of a few months, and I could not believe how much better everything felt.
Bobcaygeon is my all-time favourite.
CBC.ca is available “globally” Saturday evening, according to the CBC publicity about this concert. They’re even interrupting Olympics coverage for it. :)
I did that ten years ago, went from 217 to 165 in 9 months. I felt like a million bucks and looked great, since I was doing a lot of weight machines. In the time since, I’ve gone up and down, up and down, not focusing enough on doing what I did then.
To think, the pool swimmers probably thought “At least we’re not out there in the bay”. :(
Is this better:
So, they don’t give out a bronze in the men’s 100m butterfly? It was the same with Oleksiak and Manuel; two gold medals and a silver, no bronze.
I think the computer had a little trouble displaying the tie.
They’re nuts for Oleksiak. That 100 metre race was fantastic!
I wish I was still a child; I’m not liking this grownup version of Titanic. :(
Fuck.
?? She died that same night?? I thought she just went to sleep and dreamed. :(
OMG, I have a friend who thinks this. Of course, we’re both just Canadians. ;)
I don’t know enough about her to say whether she was disturbed, true. Watson “converted to Christianity” about 1975, so that might have been part of the appeal. Once again, religion making someone do what they might normally have not done.
He also married a (no-doubt) disturbed woman who bore four children with him, before California outlawed conjugal visits in 1996.
Tex Watson is, horrifyingly, still alive.
