I don't think the actual ps3 case will change. Just the box art. I may be wrong, but I think the ps3's blu-ray case will still be used, so that will solve confusion since the ps4 doesn't use the same kind of case.

I initially thought that it may cause confusion too; however, I think the actual case will not change on the ps3 - just the design will change. PS4 cases are slightly different and don't have that extra clear, empty plastic space at the top.

I also like the blue aesthetic of the PlayStation brand. At any rate, it's silly that people are making this controversial.

I most definitely agree with what you're saying, but I think the developers of this game are using this term as a hook to stand out and get their game noticed. That's what I got from it anyway.

It's not technically out yet (it's currently available via Steam early access), but Assault Android Cactus has amazing couch co-op. It will be an excellent game to play with friends once it hits consoles later this year!

For me, Rayman Legends on Wii U is as perfect as it gets. Brilliant level design, excellent music, and great platforming. I actually love this game on all platforms, but on the Wii U, it's an experience unmatched.

My guess is that it will display "Atlus" since it's going to be a bona fide game company again (albeit still owned by parent company Sega, which the fine print will probably show).

The reason why this is a bigger deal than if it was a straight couple is that you don't see this in video games. It's often considered taboo for two people of the same sex to be romantically involved. So Naughty Dog says, "screw it; we're doing our own thing" here. I don't see why that needs to be considered…

If Kirk got the impression that they were romantically involved, I don't see a problem with that assumption. I think the game is a little ambiguous on purpose so that we can make up our own minds as to what their relationship was. It's done subtly, and I really like that.
