It can't be just me, but I just don't see why people can't be satisfied anymore. People just can't be appeased and will find a way to complain about anything. Every article on Kotaku, Joystiq or any other random website lately — no matter how positive or fun or entertaining the article may be — there's always that

wow, thanks for sharing that. Pretty phenomenal, what that artist did!

If you're rating games on how challenging they are, you should probably change Resogun to 10/10. Its highest difficulty is the epitome of challenge.

The word magic is one term, and I gave you a definition of that term. There are other definitions (as with most words), but they're mostly about using the word magic in a literal sense (like using a magic wand, as a noun, verb, etc). There is nothing in the definition of magic that fits what you've been talking about.

I'm not using any term loosely. I defined the term magic. This fits the definition. Nothing loose about that. Seriously though, just facepalm me and get it over with because I'm not going to agree with you.

I didn't say it was anything new? It's taking advantage of a new platform (vine) using old tricks, effectively. Look, if this isn't anything special, then this dude wouldn't have so much attention, but he does and people are impressed by it. That doesn't make it not magic. And, by the way, I think you just said

Uh, yeah. If a film uses tricks to create illusions whether it be by editing or otherwise, by definition those are magic tricks. Hell, the company ILM has "magic" right in its name. The more you know.

I'm in total agreement with you. The people complaining seem to have taken ownership over the term "magic" when they actually didn't take the time to even look up the definition of a magic trick. Also, this is one of those "life is too short" deals where if you're going to let something that doesn't fit your

How do you really know this guy's intent? Also, if you really, really believe that he is going to trick people into believing that he pulled these things off when it's widely known that people do quick edited vines all the time, I think you're mistaken.

By definition, this is magic. So he didn't physically perform the tricks in front of a crowd. Seems a little archaic to think that these illusions are not magic just because of editing.

I'd argue that point that this doesn't take skill. It is. You pull the same edits off if you're so convinced it doesn't take skill.

I don't think anyone believes this is all real. Does anyone think magic tricks are real? Anyhow, aside from whether this is magic or not, I think it's neat and these tricks were crafted in excellent humor. Seriously, if you watched this and didn't even crack a smile, perhaps you're numb inside.

This may not be a popular response given the hate in these comments, but I actually enjoyed all of these, and I tend to dislike rap and Katy Perry.

So what are you waiting for? Why don't you stream yourself playing it if it's so easy to do? The guys that did these runs of Punch Out and Super Punch Out put in countless hours of practice (as documented by their twitch accounts). I doubt you could do the same after playing the game "a few times".

That Super Punch Out run was extraordinary. I love how even the runner had trouble processing that it happened.

I am in so much agreement with you on this. We've seen this same story over and over again in other media. And we've seen the same mechanic of picking up and examining items in other games before. So, I'm at a loss for what makes this game so special.

I feel like Gone Home was incomplete. It needed more than one mechanic. I mean, I appreciated the story and how it was told, but honestly, we've seen different forms of the same story over the years in books, movies, and television. People are also praising the way the story is told as if it is innovation. I disagree.

I now have an image in my mind of Walter White pouring "stevia" in my Coke.

A couple of my friends just recently visited Japan on their honeymoon and they told me that Japanese people are some of the nicest, patient people you'll ever meet!

Actually, the ship with homing missiles can be quite powerful because it has the best boosting power of the game. If you use it strategically, you can literally blast through the final levels.
