Whether a handheld is next gen or if it can keep the industry going is not what I'm getting at. I did say that the 3Ds is relevant to video games, just as a 360 or PS3 and whether you like handhelds or not is purely subjective. You don't have to like them, but that doesn't negate how relevant they are and have been

The 3DS was very much the highlight of e3 when it was announced. Not sure if you remember it. It is just as relevant as a 360 is, video game wise. You don't have to like handhelds, but that doesn't make them any less relevant.

I don't know. I don't really mind diaries and journals just like I don't mind graffiti. Most of that stuff provides supplemental information. You don't need to follow that stuff, but it serves as a fun way to get more from a given story's lore. At least, I think it is. To each his own.

Not to defend what Beer said, but I think Phil Fish presents himself like a ticking time bomb. I think the combination of what Beer said and Fish's personality created a perfect storm yesterday. I believe that even if they dissolved their argument by way of a "locker room" scenario, it would be only a matter of time

30 years ago, it was 1983. Not so hard to believe that somebody 30 years old grew up playing games like Strider. I'm 34, and also grew up playing said games, but I'm not sure if 4 years earlier still qualifies as face-punch worthy in Mike Fahey's book. /eyeroll

I see these sorts of updates like they're expansion packs, myself. I mean, by your logic, we wouldn't have a Street Fighter IV until next year (if, in fact, that is the last update to the game). It makes no sense. Games are rarely ever released in a complete state anyway these days because of DLC. I mean, do you own

Nope. Because the comma'd area is after "of this game", it refers to "of this game" and not "The title princess". It's additional information about the game that doesn't need to be included in the statement. That's the reason why commas separate it from the rest of the sentence. The reason why it only refers to "of

I think the wording "The title princess" is screwing with peoples' brains. In Jeopardy, whenever they say "... of this game" or "... in this movie" etc, they're asking for the title of said game or movie.

To each their own. Because I tend to be pretty bad at stealth type games, I made a clutch decision to play it on Easy. As stated, I'm not the most skilled player so it was the appropriate setting for me at the time, especially to get used to the controls and mechanics of the game. After finishing the game on Easy+, I

I also believe that Joel, deep down, is a good person. I mean, the game makes it pretty clear that he's good at killing, but look at the world he was thrown into. To survive in that world, you *have* to kill. What is good and bad becomes irrelevant at that point. If it had not been for the infection, I'm certain he

As a resident of the East Bay, I approve of this video!

I feel like the Pro controller has a pretty solid feel, and it does have triggers, but they're not analog like on PS3 or 360. I think that's the only downside. My preferred controller remains sixaxis though.

The Wii U's pro controller does have rumble.

I can make due with inverted or regular. I'm an ambi-turner.

No kidding!

well, it's clear that Marlene was sympathetic to Ellie. Especially hearing the tape recordings of her struggling with making the decision to kill Ellie to save mankind. But Joel was just a transporter. She spent next to zero time with him. So why should she have any sympathy to him? Hell, she spent more time with Tess

The at&t of then is not the at&t of now. The at&t of now is just a rebranded SBC (who bought the original at&t). So it's interesting, but not entirely satisfying.

Now playing

Mansion of Hidden Souls creeped me out when I was younger.

I recently quit WoW, but it wasn't because of raiding though I do feel that since Ulduar, raiding has become less and less fun. It's just that at this point, there isn't much else they can do to really innovate within the game. I'm not complaining about the perks that they did add to the game (pet battles, etc), I

Yeah, May First is correct. Whoever told you "May one" is trolling you.
