I bought the older d link camera specifically for my kids room. A normal baby monitor only let's you hear what's going on but this lets you know if you should go in the room or stay out. Very very handy for any parents.

I don't think it was actually a drop ceiling. If a drop ceiling collapsed it would not kill anyone, or hold water long enough for this to happen.
