I have mixed feelings on this. The default male Shepard has always been the face in trailers and art. You can customize your character however you want, I think it would look silly to suddenly put a completely new male face on the box.
Has anyone played Forsaken World? It's an MMO and its free on Steam. Is it any good?
1 controller per system = dealbreaker
I'm having a hard time picturing how a flat plane can be rolled into a tube without being considered curved.
Reviews do seem to be unnecessarily harsh for DNF. It's as if we've been promised this is a brand new title developed in 2011 with a giant budget, and they're shocked that this isn't what we got. Take it for what it is.
Next from Nintendo we will learn the Wii-U does not feature internet connectivity or online play, since so many other devices do that already
I think most of the negative feedback isn't about rail games being inherently bad, but rather that the franchises going in that direction really don't make sense.
Does this matter? It plays the same games as the PS3 and 360. I have little doubt that the PS4 or new xbox will blow the wii-u out of the water in terms of hardware power, and then Nintendo will be back to losing cross platform games.
"The Wii U controller is basically just a classic dual analogue controller with a screen. If two-player gaming with xBox controllers works, then there's no reason this won't either when using a Wii U controller + classic controller."
There's nothing wrong with asymmetrical gameplay, I expect there will be some neat Mario Party games using it. I wouldn't buy an entire console based around that though.
@Driveshaft: Consider the implications of each player in a game having a different controller. You either end up with asymmetrical gameplay like the demo's we've seen of 3 people on one screen against the guy with the u-mote, or you get games where the u-motes features arent used at all.
Do all levels have fixed camera angles?
Do you have a FPS running while you skype? How does it handle all the background noise?
Having voice chat going to and from a controller in your lap cannot possibly work better than a headset.
How do your speed boosts work drifting? Is it on a timer like the wii (boo) or is it manually controlled?
Looks like Adventure Mode from Brawl. I feel bad for whoever gets stuck playing as Waddle Dee.
I love that when he's talking about how it doesn't need multitouch, its not meant to be a tablet, it doesn't need zooms.... the demo video at the side shows it being used as a tablet zooming in and drawing
Leave Rory at home to take care of the baby. Keep Amelia in the TARDIS.
I thought that might be Vaati he's fighting at the end of the video, so I paused it there for a better look.
