Ahha, suddenly makes so much more sense why the "Drivers Wanted" are all over trailers.

That is sexy.
I'd like to nominate AutoVAZ.
2nd: Ah, figures. The only areas where people seriously look into gas mileage.
Huh... So even the mechanic was off. Go figs.
I just got my '98 Civic from CL back in 2007, and it had a misfire once in a while, specifically around idle. Check engine light comes on, and of course it started to irritate me after a while. I got an OBDII, checked the message and it said TDC sensor. I called up the local Honda place and the guy was actually…
When you have an engine that has such colorful issues, you bet your ass those guys will try to keep it running for minimum price.
Hoho! This should go on the list, it's pretty bad for sure. :D
Uhm... Yeah.
I wouldn't think they melt it down. 70-80 years for... I don't know, say 6" hulls is not a whole lot. Even if you have corrosion bad enough to lop off 1" on both sides, that's still 4" of material you can work with.
Sunk ships are - in a "duh" manner - at the bottom of the sea, in a very cold, air tight environment.
My buddies and I have been going back and forth about throwing an old school lightbar back onto the Chevy van, as it was once a Search and Rescue...
Mmm, not really. "Something torquey you really look forward to driving" is much closer to my flavor of things. The way I drove I was only getting somewhat better mileage (Civic ~35 VS Yaris ~43, quoted 45+ mpg). I enjoyed the hell out of driving it around with all of that pep under the hood.
I have driven a 1.4L TD back in Hungary in 2010, and compared to my Civic it was a freaking champ!
Hm, I'm a bit the other way around. I love computers, wanted to do programming however I looked at the job turnover rate back in the day with 1000% turnover. So I became a mechanical engineer, and will do some wrenching in my spare time. :D
Self-repair fail?
*sniffle... sniffle sniffle*
Actually... Diamonds Are Forever is very guilty of this too with Fords!
Management...? I think you mean manufacturing.
Wow... Mold working, yeah, that is pretty thankless. =\
