It really is. I’m surprised it hasn’t been picked up more as an engine / power train swap. The reality is it makes more power and torque than lots of 305 / 302 / 327 / some 350's that are being swapped left and right at the moment and if you bring the 8 speed along for the ride it’s even better! The 3.6 is so good, I’ve had one in 3 different vehicles now and it’s always been a performer. Personally I think the 3.6 would be a perfect match to the Toyobaru twins and it would finally be in a platform that does the engine justice!

The ME412 makes me the most sad out of any concept car considering the Daimler overlords couldn’t handle how amazing it was and canned it.

If you don’t need to tow just buy a maxed out Pacifica for just under 50k. Has loads of features, an awesome ride, is way cheaper and the sliding doors combined with stow and go crush anything on the market when it comes to utility.

Pre refresh I get the Journey hate but post refresh it became a solid choice. I had a 2015 Journey R/T AWD and it was a great car. Lots of features, lots of power, and the AWD system worked really well in bad weather. Fuel economy could have been better around town but it was quick enough to at least have an excuse…

To be fair the current V6 Camaro isn’t a slow car. But a 5th gen, yes, be ashamed indeed!
