Not really seeing the issue here. They slowed down so they didn’t hit the bear. Sure they possibly could have got on their way a little sooner but I don’t see them trying to chase the bear, or honk at it, or any of that other dumb crap that people do.

Okay - Jalops - especially the lady Jalops - help me with this one. Generally speaking women seem to love convertibles but just as often complain about the wind ruining their hair.

OMG you’re right! lol!

Chevy doesn’t make a “Prius WRX STI”! It’s the Prius WRX NSX!

I love being at the auto parts store and watching people oust the fact that they don’t know what car they drive. Every day. With badges on it. Saying what car it is.

Best part is both sides will think of it as a purge!

Where did your minivan love come from? It’s pretty wild to see what somebody can really do with one!

Why can I only grant one star?!

I feel like the Pacifica put the nail in that coffin - it looks so good!

AH so THIS is your mighty van! I dig the flat paint!

I used to have a Journey R/T AWD, and it’s spec 0-60 is 6.1 sec. My wife was being hassled by some idiot in an older Mustang GT and positively smoked him off the line at a light. Same deal, the look on the idiots face was totally worth it!

Aw snap! I dun been served. My knowledge is behind the times it would seem. Thanks for the update, for I am a n00b.

This just makes me miss the 98 Neon Sport I used to hoon. Killer car with a stick!

I would like to be wrong, I would like Tesla to make such a large advancement in automotive assembly - I really do. The thing is soft tooling is a step that everybody would love to skip, and nobody has. To me that says an awful lot about how important that step is.

As ellomdian said, it’s mostly about verifying the assembly process. The reality is that despite the level of modeling available today it’s still not perfect and the soft tooling step reveals issues with production that don’t appear in modeling. Elon acts like modeling of the assembly process is something other

I suspect that if the 3 rolls off the line on time (history says otherwise) that it will be a quality nightmare. Other automakers have been making cars for decades with extremely talented engineers and have yet to skip soft tooling. As someone who grew up in the auto industry and works in the industry I assure you if

No it won’t.

I’d select the ACR option!

Honestly I suspect this hasn’t happened at least in part because so many people are preserving Jeeps on their own. As you point out, it’s not hard to find any Jeep no matter the age; from WWII Jeeps up to present day.

Why?
