That’s on the dealers, not the OEMs. Not that either are nice.

I skipped down here for one reason - I’ve already spent months on end reading and watching things about this exact car. While I get the excitement of buying a V8 Vantage it’s not anything new to the Jalopnik crowd.
Not sure but it certainly is a much more comfortable ride than the Explorer. If you’re looking for a smooth ride with lots of space the Flex kills it!
Flex is a seriously underrated vehicle! Good on you for buying one!
Delightfully pretty body parts!
Honestly - I don’t buy that.
I deeply respect Pagani, but I’ve never liked them. Make no mistake these are incredible cars but their design is so fussy / busy / over the top for me.
Do you get an inflated sense of man bulge when driving it?
You’re 8 years too late on calling all hope is lost.
I would take Sabine over Rory.
Because BMW engines aren’t very good.
I like your articles, your project, and your joy of doing the work yourself! So I have to say “keep doing you!” only I mean it in a sincere, non backpedally and patronizing sort of way. :)
I’m with you - I don’t want a bean counter Supra, I want a Toyota Supra. Given that costs have come way down on lightweight materials and turbo engines can be used relatively cheap I don’t see why Toyota couldn’t just do this project themselves. Three flavors make sense to me; image only, fun performance, track…
No I did not think Toyota would develop another inline 6 necessarily despite BMW never having stopped and Mercedes bringing out a new one. If Toyota did their own TT V6 I’d be good with that. I just hope it doesn’t have a BMW engine in it as they tend to not be very good as a semi recent article here on Jalopnik…
Am I the only one who won’t care about this car at all if it really does come with a BMW engine?
The sad part is that it’s a certainty that many people actually liked the pussy grabbing bit. :(
You miss the strange noises when connecting don’t you? :)
When it comes to talking to girls, steady, direct, and polite (but not patronizing) works well. The key is to not go into a conversation with the expectation of getting something out of it (even if that’s your goal). Keeps the creepy out!
You left out children.
Cool Ranch Doritos!
