They wanted to make a console based EVE experience, would be great on PC also but I'm really really loving the idea of PC gamers hiring PS3 gamers to do jobs. The cross platform integration is pretty damn revolutionary

I agree. This game seems like its completely straightforward with what it says, no witty references or nicely placed cliches just the characters talking about the game creators throughout the whole thing, which ends up feeling very very scripted and cheesy.
