unappreciated, this thing is(a good engine no doubt) but so over used and then some its hardly unappreciated.
I don't blame you, theres a balance between comfort and performance, not everyone goes track racing and some(like me) live nowhere near a track or even a decent road that isn't watched to hell, I'd have probably went for the type R and regretted it in the long run.

you'd be surprised, the plucky little British mini's don't die in cold weather, its one of the few British car that don't and bad example aside it still doesn't the other 70-80 percent of cars pre-2000's that don't have central locking
when your under a car and your friend knocks on the hood it can be pretty damn loud, in college we play pranks on people while they're under a car by beeping the horn frightening the living crap out of anyone under there, when changing the oil it gets pretty messy and seriously funny.
