its pretty simple to drill holes in the underside of the ps3 casing, though, you'd best put some cross brasing inside, cause eventually the plastic may crack and come loose from the screws.

trick is, the glue is on the non sticky side of the tape, thus eliminating wall damage, though... not sure about damage to the wire, the glue might eat at the wire, rubber cement would have been alittle more friendly and its cheap enough.

word of advice, dont use canned air on it unless you take it out of its shell, just blowing air though the vents forces the dust up into the fan mechanism and clogs the cooling fins up, i took mine appart and fixed it when it ylod'd and i could see where all the dust went from spraying it.
