@exahex: I'm about to build my first computer, i've installed plenty of parts, sure but never a processor, if theres one thing that you should always do is add that extra 10 to insure your processor for an installation damage replacement, everything else is fair game.

windows updates, i've got a computer thats completely screwed at the minute, it completely freezes after booting windows after updating it, its really old an when i got it off a friend a few days ago it was still runing xp pro SP 1! i updated it to the latest possible and it freezes on me!!!! :(
