I think the old Model-T was set up to use gasoline or alcohol from the factory or at least given the option. If I remember correctly this was because Ford assumed that farmers would make their own alcohol fuel. Maybe the Brazilian strategy stretches back pretty far?

I certainly hope so.

My phone is technically capable of playing audio under lock screen or during multitasking, but I have to pay for Youtube Premium music to use either of those capabilities in that streaming service. That's the point I'm making. You can make hardware do just about anything, but app developers still got us by the balls. 

You’ll also need to pay for the “premium” version of every streaming service you use.
