I think the old Model-T was set up to use gasoline or alcohol from the factory or at least given the option. If I remember correctly this was because Ford assumed that farmers would make their own alcohol fuel. Maybe the Brazilian strategy stretches back pretty far?

So, what’s a realistic timeline for petrol/diesel fuels to be priced and/or regulated out of reach for average people? I gotta know, because I still wanna drive a classic car on the weekends, but an EV conversion will be hard to swallow unless it's the only way to be on the road.
