This is a gimmick nothing more nothing less. Permadeath has a place in games. This isn't the way to implement it. This is just laziness hoping that the gimmick will be enough to bring people in. Best of luck to them.

So now you don’t have to play through their bland single player campaigns in a specific order.......I guess that is an improvement for the “bro” community out there.

I am surprised there hasn't been any issues with likeness. Specially for that "Kirito" they have there. I mean seriously I don't usually care, but that one is extremely obvious. Does this maker have rights to SAO or something? I have no idea who made the other SAO game.

Honestly it’s not about it being the right time or not. I am sure Destiny itself is a solid title. I just decided several years ago to stop giving my money to the Devs I don’t feel I am on the same page with. I just stopped tolerating the horrible things that are popular with games today. One of the worst offenders

You know I loved Bungie back before their partnership with Activision. When their website was changed over to its current format I pretty much read the signs and jumped ship after being loyal to the Dev for 10 years. It wasn’t personal, I wasn’t angry. Just disappointed knowing they wouldn’t be a company I could

Well of course he feels that way. If you engage toxic players always expect them to have some excuse or justification. Truth is how we act in games says more about us than how we act in real life. It shows you what someone will do when the consequences for their actions/behavior is almost nonexistent. People can play

I gave up on Bungie a long time ago. I once looked forward to seeing what they could do after Halo. All that came with that was disappointment. When Destiny launched I said meh I will get it when its on sale for $40. Then when that happened I thought no lets wait for $30 then $20 and after that I knew there would be

Fell in love with this one.

I have excellent empathy for the people that matter. ^^

I am still skeptical. I love everything I have seen and heard about No Man's Sky, but large games like it worry me. Usually you end up with a vast empty uninteresting world. I guess on the plus side at least the terrain generation I've seen looks nice. I always adopt a wait and see attitude in the age of rushed games

.........................................................................................................................................................................................................................no

Advertising for your adversary, I too like to live dangerously.

:( I have friends in Denmark I met about two years ago on an MMO. If most of their population are like them the world should just leave these pleasant people alone.

Definitely the only perma-death game I would be interested in. ^^

First post I've read here, will probably be the last. I know you were going for funny. When I saw the title I expected funny. I mean at least it was accurate cause you never promised humor in your own writing. The wiki entry was hilarious. Probably should have just linked us to the page and said enjoy. Part way

lol Sorry, was just trying to illustrate people with the whole "Bro" mentality. Which in my circle of friends we just tend to refer to them that way. All frat guys are not created equal obviously.

Dead Island was a lot of fun to play with friends. For me Borderlands was just a shoot'em up I played with friends for laughs. Not ashamed to say I have 200+ in the first two games. Didn't play the prequel. I didn't get into Destiny which was odd, but I felt like with the timing and what not it wasn't something I had

Sorry I just feel like that game was over the top the way Gears was. I actually managed to log some time into the first Gears campaign it wasn't terrible. I would rather play something like Borderlands to get a fix similar to it. BulletStorm was a solid game just not my cup of tea.

I wasn't equating the gameplay, but people into the overtop style you find in GoW. Kind of like putting a chainsaw on an assault rifle. I couldn't get past the character chiming in with Bullet Storm. Felt like something you would find floating around a frat house to be honest. They are very different games though, I

I couldn't get into this one really wasn't for me. It wasn't a terrible game by any means. I just felt like it was built with a different crowd in mind. More like the Gears of War crowd and its a fairly sizable crowd at that. lol.
