Congratulations, Mr. Mark Longoria, on COTD! I would ike to gift you with a Bentley which this lovely lady will deliver soon. It was not foolishly purchased off a used car lot.

He wasn’t delusional, at all.
Lecture?
I’m 6'6" and can only fit in the NC. I got into the ND at the LA car show and almost had to celebrate my next birthday stuck in the car. Hard to get out of.
How do you like that trunk that you have to lift the back of the top to open, then close BOTH sides of the top’s buttresses after you close the trunk if the top is up?
What miserable pieces of shit (design). How do you like that trunk that you have to lift the back of the top to open, then close BOTH sides of the top’s buttresses after you close the trunk if the top is up? Not to mention that you can’t fit a 6-pack of beer in the trunk without removing the bottles from the case,…
I get the appeal of these cars and I remember a dealer nearby my home had them and I thought if I want a Toyota that can haul things, be versatile and look odd I’ll just go and buy a Pontiac Vibe or Matrix! My family agreed and just recently traded it in after 10 years of loyal sevice( Pontiac Vibtrix)
Also, drag limited to 106MPH! :P
Oh darn! So close, but alas, I have the little brother xA. No complaints though: it’s a great little car. (Also helps to have the Speedline runs and tinting so that it looks different from most every other xA).
I loved my first gen xB. I would have bought another if Toyota didn’t listen to focus groups, replacing a great quirky car with a loyal following with a thing that managed to gain 800 pounds while losing interior space.
Congratulations, Mr. X-cchannel-M, on COTD! My award to you is a Scion xB which this lovely lady will deliver as soon as she gets her balance.
Cheap, reliable, practical, fun: for years we’ve been extolling the virtues of the Scion xB, the rolling box on…
Honestly, xB was my first immediate reaction, but Tom beat me to it. So I had some fun.
Be a smart person. Buy a 2nd gen Honda Fit.
Toyota actually recalled a bunch of Tacomas and Tundras because the FRAMES rusted through. Suspension mounts fell off, frames bent in half, and it was no favor to their customers since it took a class action lawsuit to get them to recall the trucks for it. But you want to talk about Rams rusting? Any vehicle will rust…
“ Toyota could build a car 30 years ago that does not crumble to rust.”
I agree. He hasn’t done anything that crosses a line yet. I don’t think I’d go talk to him in private, though, for the same reasons you don’t advise going to the private study. A polite, but firm e-mail that says:
Yes.
Z4 is hang the ass out fun? Have you driven one? Must have been on a dirt track ‘cause those tires aren’t breaking loose on pavement.
I really don’t get commenters who complain about “click-baity” headlines or articles on a FREE website.
