Exactly. It’s a lifestyle choice, as most cars are, especially luxury cars. It is big, imposing, rides high, looks aggressive, stupid fast. People like the package. Too many people hung up on practical numbers - cars are very much an emotional purchase. And it doesn’t have to please everyone so for the people who hate

You had me at No. 1

Suzuki Swift clone. Awesome car but made out of tin foil. Never get in an accident in one. Back in the day I speed across town loaded with seven people. Tire blew but only once we got to where we were headed to.

You could say that of the Mercedes CLS. Hell, you can say that of most 2 door coupes.

My point is that if you can live with the M5 sedan then X6M will accommodate you even better for practicality, so it is not the space penalty box everyone is saying it is. The 3 series touring being more practical than the X4 is not really relevant to that point. I’ve already commented earlier in a reply that the X6

Crossover coupes are an honest admission that a huge percentage of SUV buyers don’t really need all the space of a regular SUV. They are also deceptive - the roof may be sloped but it is only a small and rarely used percentage of space. The rest of the space is retained.

Sedan. It has way more trunk space - check the numbers. And that space is far more useful.

Fun fact: The X6M is way more practical than the M5.

Mad Max flaunts his steel spines

I’m not comparing the X7 directly to the SQ7. It is a demonstration of the new normal in prices. The SQ7 is the ‘M’ of the Q7 so should command a considerable premium.

First, send him a bottle of scotch for saving you from financial ruin.

Have you been living under a rock for the last decade?

The Escalade is also a whole lot more Americaner.

These days $85K is not a lot of money. The last X7 I tested was $120k. Not that I’m in the market. 500hp is also a bit low in horses. The next Camry V6 will probably have that power.

And in a flash LH44 transformed into an elephant (in the room).

*2021 Volkswagen Beetle*. There, fixed it for ya.

Ha!

Slow comment day huh???
