September? Pffft... I get replies to comments I made years ago. And being an enthusiast on an enthusiasts’ site I’m usually engaged enough to dive back into the conversation. It’s ok that you’ve moved on, but it is weird you’d act surprised to be receiving comments after just a handful of months.

You did in your first post on this thread. I agree that function may not be a priority, but that was the discussion in this particular thread (not the article).

That is an amusing hot take. These are sofisticated engineering programs that find gains even when there are none to be found. Mercedes may be a level up on Ferrari but you can't operate at this level without being really good at it.

But as I’ve pointed out, your idea of the most things people use trucks for, is wrong, including off-roading. Raptor yes, but most trucks, no.

..And that was the whole point. Most of the regular stuff trucks can do, vans can do better. That was the original argument of the OP. I personally think vans are more fun than trucks.

That is fine, but for most truck users those limitations of a van are not an issue. They are more than good enough for 90% of the truck market.

Fine and all but the real war is in cyberspace as we’ve seen effected so clearly.

If you go offroad then a van may suck, if you don’t choose one of the 4x4 vans. However most pickup truck drivers very rarely do the kind of offroading that would stress a van. How often does one haul dead animals or stinky stuff? More often than not it is supplies and equipment that would more easily fit in a van. As

For hauling and moving people a van is usually way better. With seats removed you have way more space, and importantly, lockable space so an opportunist doesn’t swipe that shiny new washing machine you just bought. Dirty stuff? Use a tarp.

I lost interest when I saw it no longer comes with a free iPad.

Well, that is the primary reason. What else would you want one for?

It’s a garage ornament.

For once it is the sun being blinded.

The Chevy Colt, I presume?

They had to do something with all that starship scrap.

What Musk is telling us is that our post apocalyptic world is just around the corner.

I’m calling it “The Blob.”

The correct answer is a Maserati GranTurismo. Exotic, flashy, Ferrari V8? It gots it. Reliable for an FCA too. Just don't buy the one I'm trying to get my hands on.

ALL cars matter!

Agreed. Shoulda used M*****F**kin’
