The silver one is strangely classy for being Mario themed. The white one is kinda tacky, but still neat. I'd take either one of them to me mine.

Mancubus was a Doom 2 enemy. I want my money back.

Alternatively, you should have just said 'that icing looks like raw meat'.

Dark Souls is too good to be on this list.

Someone is in denial.

Reminds me of VF4. Winning on a windy stage with Pai, while waiting for the 'challenger' text to go away? So awkward.

This really isn't worth arguing about, but it's probably a lot easiest to say 'hey Mom can I have $20 to go the movies' every week than it is to save up. Also, playing in the arcade and playing at home are never the same thing, regardless of the quality of the pad.

Maybe he couldn't afford an arcade style dance mat. 10 hour sessions sounds pretty freaking obsessive to me.

I hate to play the 'rose-tinted glasses' card, but as a fighting game player...I mean, have you played this game in the last 10 years? I promise you it does not need to come back.

I'm not trying to defend KI, but Aquapazza is kind of a bad example since we got it over a year late, and over two years after the arcade version. Also, it originally only had like 11 characters.

The US DC launch remains the best ever, by a bit. Sonic Adventure, Soul Calibur, HotD2 and Power Stone? There were actually decisions to be made, instead of "well, I guess I'll get this one because there's nothing else."

Reminds me of Boxxle. What a game that was...

Any pizza that has pepperoni in cube form is horrible, so I'd kind of assume the same about bacon cube burgers.

That commercial is pretty bad, but the 'unofficial' one is just confusing. I spend (waste) like 50% of my day on the internet, and I spend most of the rest of that time playing video games, and I have no idea what that game is.

I'll take your word for it. Some of the Traders' and SofMaps in Akiba definitely have above average prices though. The big SofMap in the picture up there had DS Lites in near-perfect condition for like sub 2,500 yen. To me, that's crazy. (and convenient, because I needed one for the flight back when my old one's

At a glance, I thought the first two screenshots were one, and that they were of the area in front of Taito HEY, and my first thought was "HEY is closed, arcades are dead, I'm done".

Better than anything in the US, certainly. But best?...it's well rounded, but too crowded. They basically have 0 shmups anymore, not much in the way of old fighters (and no VF5, which is still plenty current thank-you-very-much), and 4 IIDX machines is great, but TRY has 8.

Compared to what? Ok, I didn't spend much time in Super Potato, but the prices in Traders were pretty great. Used Cave games for the 360 were mostly in the 2,000 yen range. If you import those, you're always looking to spend $40+. (and lol at those people on eBay trying to sell MuchiMuchi Pork and Pink Sweets for $200)

I was really annoyed with the game up until I beat the first boss. It gets progressively more fun as you level up more, and get a better understanding of the how the combat works / you don't need to understand it because you're broken by the time you reach the maximum level. You should've stuck it out.

The gameplay is still good and all, but the music has been on a steady decline for years (in part because the Japanese rock industry is super dead), and the interface...just when you think it can't get worse, they find new ways to surprise you.
