My sister and I have a whole category for Plane Movies and this looks perfect for that. My IQ and reasoning skills drop considerably at 30,000 feet... I thought 27 Dresses was a good movie.

I disagree. The distinction here is important because calling this drug female viagra implies that for most women problems in their sex lives are mostly mental, and that for most men the problems are physical, which is just informed by, and reinforcing, gender stereotypes.

Petition to stop calling this female viagra. Viagra is for when you feel desire, but can’t get the physical reaction you want. This is basically the opposite.

Hi! I’m not a lawyer or HR professional, but I spent a lot of years working with both on issues like this one so I’m not an expert but I have some knowledge of the Canadian legal framework. So the short answer is no, the company definitely can’t prevent you from discussing your pay with coworkers. However, I think the

Not in a lot of parts of the USA.

I’ve never seen sprinkles on a fluffy so it might be something a few cafes do, but I don’t think it’s standard practice.

I like this idea. I think the suggestion that institutions that are built on the profits of slavery provide scholarships specifically for Black Americans or visible minorities is both realistic and fitting. It should be extended to add scholarships for native americans since the whole country is built on their land.

...if a couple decided to procreate.

As I said above, in New Zealand you can order it at any cafe and it’s called a fluffy which is an adorable word to make small children say. It’s usually a treat, like when you serve a kid juice in a wine glass. I see no harm in this, although I can see why the word “babyccino” got mocked.

It’s 200% more adorable when it’s a three-year-old saying it. And they’re so polite.

*shrug* In New Zealand this is really common but it’s called a “fluffy”. It’s cute.

Oooh, the tension headache thing could be a bonus side effect. I get a lot of headaches.

This is great to hear. Mine are juuuuust starting to appear in that everyone except my sister says “You’re crazy, there’s nothing there.” and my sister says “It’s definitely started but no one will really notice for another few years.” because she loves me enough to tell me the truth. So maybe that will be my judge

This is basically my dream result. I’m young-ish to start doing it now, but I think it could be preventative so I don’t get the 11 lines that my mum has. Half weaken those muscles and half train myself out of frowning all the time.

I already regret starting this game. Which I guess means you won? Congratulations!

*insert about 65857643 potentially horrible things here*

Has anyone had good experiences? Or bad-in-a-different-way experiences? I kind of want to do something preventative because my mum has huge frown lines that I want to avoid, but I’m torn between “Fuck yeah, it’s my face and I’ll do what I want.” and “Oh, yeah, good idea put poison in your face to better fit

I hear you, for sure. I voted NDP (I’ll save my proportional representation rant for another day) and I have the same concerns that you have about TPP and C-51. And as a dual citizen I’m also particularly interested in C-24.

Yeah, the thing I think is interesting is the cognitive dissonance. I have family members who will talk about Canada as a leader in tolerance and peacekeeping in one breath, and complain about first nations and immigrants in the next.

Oh definitely - both countries are fucked up in very similar ways. It was more the direct comparison between the two PMs. Canada is super racist and sexist - I’ve been pretty surprised by the shit people have said since I moved back a few years ago.
