I will bet $10,000 that those parents would not notice if you didn’t “like” it. I unfollowed most of the parents in my network because I gdaf about babies/kids and no one is mad at me for not liking their photos, just like I’m not mad at anyone for not “liking” my beach pics from vacation (the #1 “If you didn’t have

Toronto is the best! I love it. We have amazing festivals so if you’re planning a trip look them up and see if you can line up with something that interests you!

Oh definitely - especially when one person is either unsuspecting or not on board. This was essentially a planned come-on-the-stomach moment that turned into an Accidental Jizz Explosion (to steal a great phrase from another commenter) so I wasn’t mad. It was mostly hilarious.

Haha, very true! Once it got in my hair and on my ear and I was only annoyed because I’d just washed my hair but when I said it out loud it sounded so valley girl drama queen - “Ugh, I just washed my hair.” that it was ten times funnier again. So now in the event of an AJE it’s always “At least it’s not in your hair.”

Ontario just fought this and won! Huzzah!

This has happened to me so many times. Also just recently a decorative thing fell off my purse - it’s cylindrical and not much longer than a tampon - and my friend asked what used to be in the empty space. I dug into my bag and said “This!” while triumphantly holding up a tampon.

I think I’m the opposite! When it actually is for me I’m head held high “Yeah, I don’t know if I’m pregnant or not and I’m buying the store brand two pack because I expect this could happen again later this year. What about it?”

*continued TMI warning* Mr Penguin came on my chin (and neck and boobs and stomach...) by accident last week and we both laughed so hard we cried and that made clean up much more difficult but also very entertaining.

I also think we emphasize “thinner is better” soooo much, it’s really hard to avoid. I’m not from the US so I have to figure out pounds vs kilos but at university when I weighed 65 (145) - which is at my lighter - my friend said she’d never weighed more than 59 (130), and I know she weighs less than that now. We’re

Right? I personally make a bit more than 45k a year and while I don’t live in Denver I think the city I’m in is probably on par for cost of living, and I cannot imagine raising a kid on my income alone.

This is the best thing anyone has ever said to me.

This is literally true but not practically. I know a number of women who have had abortions under the “mental” or “emotional” health aspect and it’s never been an issue. No one has been prosecuted within my lifetime. Abortion access in NZ is much easier than in most parts of the USA, and from my knowledge it is

... At least it’s free and available across the country. So considerably less depressing than the USA.

Except they literally did. Novella = 80,000 words = 200x400 word articles. I can definitely find 200 articles about how wine snobbery is all made up.

My parents had a fake cake at their wedding! It came with a knife-hole for slicing photos, then they had a sheet cake for eating.

My friend did this but asked for it for her birthday from her husband and parents. She only got about five items and it cost maybe $800 including the clothes? The main thing she got is that they culled her wardrobe and helped her really narrow down her style etc. so I think it can be less expensive if you just pay for

I love all of these.

“Grace Kelly meets Mad Dog Murdoch” - lots of pretty dresses with chucks, graphic tshirts with pencil skirts, lace and silk with leather or denim, short shorts with long cardigans.

As someone with seriously sun-phobic skin a thin cardigan is a summer life saver. I just got my hair cut short and now I have to remember to sunscreen my neck every bloody day. It’s exhausting.

Haha - my winter style is definitely “Children’s Movie Librarian”. All the layers, at least one pattern, at least one cardigan, probably incorrectly buttoned. I’m trying to nail down my summer style... I’m mulling it over.
