Huh... well if oreos are vegan...

I cannot star this enough - made me lol.

I think the main difference is that with anorexia the core thought is "eat less" whereas orthorexia is about dividing all foods into "good" versus "bad".

I think the point is that she took it to even more of an extreme in the name of "health". Refined sugar and lots of dressings are vegan, but those are also listed.

Yeah, a friend of mine was vegan and became incredibly unhealthy because it turns out her body doesn't efficiently process/create protein so she now eats a lot of fish and some local/organic/overpriced meat, but a friend of hers was so passive aggressive about the change. Would say she understood then say things like

My sister and I were each allowed two things we wouldn't eat. My mum hates mushrooms and my dad hates cauliflower so I think it was their way of recognizing that there's a world of difference between being really picky and genuinely disliking something. It's harder to do that with a kid under 5, but it worked well for

I didn't know you were from Toronto - hi neighbour :) It was one of those carparks that's under the Gardiner along Lakeshore, towards Cherry Road. I live near there and it was the week my air con was whining to try and keep my apartment at 28 (let alone any cooler) and I was just so mad about this. Just leave your dog

Yeah, dogs aren't as trusting as kids! This almost happened in Toronto last summer - the dog had been in the car for ages (apparently the owner thought it was okay because he parked in the shade?!? Idiot.) and was really scared and disoriented so when they got the door open it bolted into traffic before basically

Aaaaaaaaaaah... pee towel?!? Where did I put my brain bleach?

I'm trying to find it but the keywords aren't really narrowing it down. It's an interview with Evelyne Brochu and she's talking about Tatiana's mother visiting the set. There's a huge Clone Club presence on Tumblr, too, and I keep getting friends hooked on it :)

I regularly do. Apparently Tatiana's mum does too - she only relates Sarah with Tatiana so she's sitting on her sofa waiting for Tatiana to come back on screen even when it's focused on Cosima or Alison.

What makes Treme a mini series and not a drama series? It's four seasons and 12 episodes per season... do the creators decide where to enter their show?

I cannot cope with this bullshit. Did they not even watch the show? Watch ONE episode and she does more than most of these actresses did in an entire season. I 100% back the nominations for Washington and Wright but I'm a bit over Danes and Homeland. The other two I haven't watched so can't really comment except to

I lived in New Zealand for 20 years and never saw a weta except when a DOC guy brought one to our school. Seriously, NZ is basically heaven for no terrifying animals at all. Also declared 2013's "most free" country so take that America!

She's not anonymous to the bar owners - they plan to write to her, remember? She asked to remain anonymous in the media. #readingcomprehension

To him I say:

I don't disagree that men would have to do more physical work, but I think women would bear the brunt of the social costs. Remember the backlash against that female Olympic weightlifter who didn't shave her armpits? It's not extra credit for "nothing", it's credit for thinking about the reasons they do certain things

Yeah, from my experience men care waaaaay less about women's body hair than society thinks they will. I've never had a boyfriend or one night stand be like "Woah! When did you last shave your armpits? What's all this pubic hair doing ruining my good time?" On the other hand I've definitely heard some judgey things

But that figure isn't based on what's spent on health research - the US government annually spends more on healthcare per person than the Canadian government does. It's mostly because the US only covers emergency care, so no one gets preventative care which is cheaper in the long term.

Yeah... no. Australians are the Americans of the southern hemisphere. Brash, overly patriotic... although they are also usually quite chill. (I'm not country-ist. I dated an Australian once.)
