Yep. I came to this realization last year after I dated this girl I met on Plenty of Fish for about a month. I thought things were going great, and it turns out that she didn’t feel the same way. We were 5 dates in and it was getting to ‘shit or get off the pot time’ and I made a move and it didn’t work out. Looking

It is FAR & AWAY better to be single and alone than it is to be in a shitty relationship. I know from personal experience how toxic bad relationships are and while being single might be the ‘safe’ option, it also avoids any drama that might arise otherwise.

Yep, this is the truth. My life has been pretty bad the last 4-5 years and the most stable job I have had in that time frame, including attempting to go back to school and bust into my chosen field of IT, is Walmart. That’s right, Walmart. It is far less BS and more straightforward than any of the IT jobs I ever took

You also have to have a social circle other than a friend or two.

As someone who lives in the lower middle class suburbs to the south of Detroit, I can say that downtown is a safe place, but even there, Detroit is still Detroit and it is a dangerous place to live. So it is appropriate it is not listed on this list.

Living paycheck to paycheck is a good way to keep your spending in check. I rarely have any spending money these days, and when I do buy things, they are always things I enjoy using and will get multiple uses out of, especially buying them at discounted prices.

*sarcasm* Because the Republicans are perfect themselves and never do anything wrong right? *sarcasm*

Do nothing

Well I can't help or answer for parents who don't have savings, but I can answer for alienation, because my parents have certainly done that to me.

And this video is exactly why Michael Bay shouldn't get his hands on the upcoming Power Rangers reboot, because it would end up almost exactly like this.

I must say I am pleased by all the hate here for fb and the people who don't use it because of privacy concerns and etc. I seriously think I am the only one who does sometimes for the legion of people around the world who use it everyday.

Yep, you hit all the nails on the head of why I no longer have a fb account either. I deleted mine 6 years ago this year, and I haven't looked back, except to see articles scattered online of all the BS changes for the worse fb has made since I deleted my account and it just reinforces why I am glad I did.

Aye. Not only am I allergic, but this article primarily illustrates all the reasons why I will never have any pets, or kids for that matter.

I live paycheck to paycheck and I also have a hard time deciding what to eat, but when I do, my mind is pretty much made up at that point.

I don't have a happy life, nor do I desire happiness. However, there is spending that calms my nerves and anxiety, and these days it is paying bills and the rent. I find that being responsible goes a long way to helping that.

Where I live in the suburbs walking really isn't a feasible option unless it is Spring or Summer.

No, it's called living paycheck to paycheck and I literally buy nothing that isn't already on my shopping list so I can still afford gas, bills, and rent.

Some of us live paycheck to paycheck and since we live in a state where we can be ticketed and even have our license suspended without car insurance, MI, the cheapest option is our only option. I work with folks who drive without it because they cannot afford it on top of all their other personal expenses. The only

I recently got my food stamps cut and I happen to work at Walmart and in my area they are not the cheapest on anything, even with my employee discount, so I shop elsewhere and I have a master list written down on what thing is cheaper where and that is how I save money.

Doesn't work on me. I only pick up what I bought and leave. The only time I buy something else is when I have a list of other things I need to get.
