I was working in IT in a Tier 1 Helpdesk capacity, but I seem to have hit a wall. I have returned to retail for the time being to focus on getting some stable employment. Whether or not I return to IT in the future remains to be seen.

I'm a single person with no kids and other than the living outside of my parents house, and I even have to borrow money from them every so often, I fail to meet every single one of these points. Life sucks when you're on the bottom, even if you have tried to improve things for yourself.
There is an alternative to MagicJellyBean to find your Windows product key that is free of toolbars and Malware. It's called Belarc Advisor. I had to use it at one of my previous jobs in the last 6 months and it will not only provide the key but a great system profile for other types of troubleshooting.
I was actually just about to suggest Glassdoor and then I saw your comment. Glad someone has already listed it here.
Well, after 2 months and 10 days of unemployment, I finally found a job, but it's at WalMart, so I will be making only a little higher than minimum wage, $7.80/hr. I know, I know, but I can't be picky and I am not. WalMart is giving me about 35 hours a week, so at least the paychecks will be almost full.
Yep, Sennheiser's make a few good pairs of over the ear styled phones for under $30-40. I sold the pair I used to own for nearly the full purchase price.
I liked it better when it had no pay prompts and was called Columns.
My magic number isn't much, it's $28-30k. Which is about $7k more than the most I have ever made which was in 2008. I am single, no kids, and 1 old car which has been paid off for years from the late 90s and is cheap (especially in my state on car insurance), and a prepaid cell phone for about $40 a month, and cable…
Thankfully the cons in my neck of the woods don't get this bad, although to be fair it's been about 4 years since I have been to one.
Me and Mountain Dew are good friends. I'd die without it.
Extra memory usage is worth it. Not seeing ads and lots of empty space is preferable to not having malware and spyware dropped on my machine. When the internet stops is current advertising schemes, then I will consider stopping using ABP. Until then, I will carry on.
Was hoping this big announcement would mean XBox Live Gold was free for everyone from here on out. Again disappointed.
A couple of years ago, I opted for a regimen of eating less of this and more of that. It requires willpower, moderation, and portion control. It doesn't cost extra, doesn't require changing what I eat drastically, and allows me to drink all the pop/soda I want.
Not to mention affecting the price of your auto insurance (at least it is in my state), and your ability to get a job.
Article recommended because I think Taco Bell is awesome, but I had also hoped there was some sort of discount that this article was going to talk about. Not disappointed anyway, Taco Bell, to me at least, is never disappointing.
Not just a zodiac thing, but I am a Virgo. People with chronic anxiety and Schizoid Personality Disorder like me, overthink everything, but to an obsessive level. It drives me nuts and renders me unable to relax. However, I find that when I do make a decision on something, I find myself more satisfied with the result.…
Or there are those of us who are allergic and we can't be around pets. It sucks but there's nothing I can do about it.
No to pictures with friends, kids, or pets. Initially, I am interested in someone and I can find out about their pets or kids on the first date. Some folks even fail to disclose those in their profile. Friends can be worried about if you get to know the person and the dating is working. Otherwise, don't bother.
I was going to shift to one of the alternate versions of Firefox, but I installed this and it does everything I need it to do. So glad someone already had this in place for us curmudgeons that hate changes. Or those of us who like functionality and don't like being told we can't use it anymore. Firefox still looks…
