Seeing these, this really makes me sad this got canned. I played Vampire, both Masquerade and Dark Ages, back in the late 90s and early 2000's. Some of the most fun I have ever had playing any kind of games. I have a copy of Bloodlines somewhere but my table top books have all been lost to time.

Yep. I miss Carlin everyday. Old man is probably turned over in his grave several times with all the shit going on now. RIP.

I saw that commercial which you are speaking of a couple weeks ago on Real Time w/ Bill Maher. If he hadn't explained what it was about prior to showing it, I would have wondered what the fuck was being sold because the commercial itself made no goddamn sense.

The biggest problem we would face with our newfound lives of leisure? Suicide. In 1959, Parade magazine speculated that people of the future would be driven to bouts of extreme depression from the lack of meaning in their lives. When there's no more need to work, who wants to go on living? The world may become a

Relevant, and because I wanted to post it anyway:

It's hard to meet people after college...so chances are you'll find yourself at least considering dating a coworker one day. After all, that's where you spend most of your time! Dating a coworker can be difficult—and in some cases, downright disastrous—but depending on the company you work for, it may be acceptable

This saved my parents hours of searching for help and potentially thousands of dollars. Take a lesson from the page in their book: find a mechanic you trust now, before you need one. It's more than worth the time and energy you'll save in the future. Remember, all cars experience a problem at some point.

Yep. The filter and generic crap brand (as in wouldn't put it in my car) minimal costs $20. If you want decent oil from the auto parts place, or from WalMart/Meijers/etc you're going to be paying $25 at least.

We can tell Megan Fox it's going to take place on the moon and then send her there without a space suit.

You're not really doing anything wrong other than sending out thank you letters, etc. That can waste time you could be using to put in applications elsewhere. Other than that it sounds like you have done all you could given your circumstances. I'm in the same boat. I'm currently looking for a job and I have 1 more

I'll agree with you. The Green Inferno, Tusk, and Wolves could turn out to be decent, and that would be thanks to their directors, but most 21st century horror is crap.

Yeah but this movie is a far cry from the new Nick cartoon. That new cartoon is amazing. I've seen every single episode and they are really doing some amazing things with it.

This is why I am glad I built my current PC myself. I was avoided a severe headache in having to remove the bloat and crapware that came installed on the laptop I had prior.

The Magitek armor has always been one of my favorite Final Fantasy things. I just started playing FFXIV, I got a free copy as part of a promotion for buying an NVIDIA graphics card, and players can have different types of mounts other than Chocobos, and the Magitek armor is one of them.

I don't know about Office 2013, but I happen to have install files for Microsoft Works and can confirm it functions just fine in Windows 8.1. Sure, I have to take an extra step or two to save the files proper, but I love Works and how simple it is and don't really want to give it up.

If it's any consolation, and I wish it was there by default, Stardock makes an application called Start8, which gets rid of the POS start screen and puts a Windows 7ish start menu into Windows 8/8.1. It's fairly cheap to buy and I think there are a couple of free options.

If this shirt was available in dude sizes, I would totally wear one.

No that Flux Capacitor is cool. I would somehow work out a cigarette lighter socket behind my seat for shits and giggles.

This whole entire article. There's more stuff like it on Not Always Right, if anyone has ever been there.

Been meaning to play Heavy Rain, but don't have a PS3. Looks like I may have to get one at some point. What platforms is Don't Starve available for?
