That is because the are. Ever heard of a feral pig? There you go.

I could really use that goddamned ability in the new game. The cop AI is for the birds in that installment.
And also Geordi LaForge, aka the dude with the visor, on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Despite our best overall intentions to impress and ace that job interview, we are only human and can only do so much, every interview is a crapshoot, even the ones that go well, as I and many others can attest to from personal experience. And mine says that it basically boils down to whether or not the interviewer…
It's ok to be bitter in this day and age. In an environment where, despite the economy getting better, there are still 100's of people fighting for the same job and it's still very much an employer's market and hiring decisions are the whims of HR people everywhere. I hate HR people, they are the bane of my existence.
Or you can do like I have done in the few times I have actually bothered to read the company's website, and accidentally focus on the wrong aspects of the company to research.
Indeed. My problems when grocery shopping are often not related to impulse purchases, but other idiots in the store making complaints about things, not paying attention to where they are going and stopping in the middle of the aisle so I cannot go around them, or issues with their kids running amok. This is all…
Is there anything with a similar functionality for Android that is preferably free? Or the same price?
Agreed. Although my loans are significantly less than yours, 17k, I would be screwed if it wasn't for the IBR. I put my loans on forbearance for the longest time, and I am almost out of forbearance time, so I have to pay my loans back, and it's only possible for me to pay them back because of IBR, it's just too much…
TV, movies, and video games lead to far more interesting conversations than any discussions about sports, people's kids, or the weather EVER will, IMHO. They are just easier to talk about anyway.
I've found just the opposite effect, at least for me. Everytime I indulge in nostalgia, or reminisce about the past, I become more cynical about the future. Things were better 30 years ago, oh hell, things were better before 9/11/2001. The world has become a sad shadow of its former self, and much more Orwellian in…
Yep, though mine is a laptop with a busted screen so I have it hooked to my LED tv with a VGA cable. Does all the stuff my phone will never be able to do. I will be replacing it around tax time with my first ever custom built pc by my own hands.
At least the weather is nicer there.
The job I currently work now, I FINALLY have weekends off and my fat self doesn't do anything on Saturday other than going to the movies. I try to get the few non housework items done the day before so I can relax. I usually spend Sunday doing laundry, dishes, and any other chores I have to take care of.
As someone who had to file for unemployment in the last 12 months and had a nightmare experience doing it, and because a flub in my paperwork and a screw-up at my state's unemployment office (MI) and now owes restitution for the 6 months he was unemployed, let me offer a bit of additional advice the article doesn't…
I love Speed Dial. I installed Opera a couple years back to try it out, as I do occasionally to see how the newer versions function, and Speed Dial was something I immediately became attracted to. Been using an extension for it in Firefox ever since. It's one of those things, once you use it, you can't go back.
Just because something is number one, doesn't make it the best by default, only the most popular.
Firefox is blocked on my work PC, all we have are IE9 and Chrome. I am sad. The extensions for Chrome are blocked too. I'm reminded how bad Chrome sucks on a daily basis, but it does perform better than IE9 but that's not saying much.
Glassdoor is indespensible for all people, both employed and unemployed. I love that site. The employer reviews posted by current and former employees are usually 100% accurate.
Well, there are now more replies than I can officially keep up with, and I am as a result unable to reply to anyone individually.
