As someone who got the living shit kicked out of him daily during middle school and the first year and a half of high school too, and was too much of a goddamned coward to fight back, I'd say your actions were pretty fairly justified. So don't feel too guilty.

If it's any consolation, alot of us have these fucking awful nightmares or horrid day dreams. They are often commonly referred to as personal demons or skeletons in the closet. I agree, they are totally not fun.

And then they fall into a situation where they themselves need it. What is that saying about a shoe on the other foot?

+1 for Glassdoor. I happened upon them when they were still in Beta a few years ago, and bar none, the reviews posted there are honest, no holds barred accounts of what it is really like to work for alot of companies. The best preparation you can get. Plus, I like that employees can post anonymously without fear of

Autopay is a non-option, and I am struggling just to keep my job of which I have only been for 3 months, I wish I could ask for a raise, but it is just simply out of the question.

Thanks for the benefits.gov link. I didn't know about that site before. Sadly, there wasn't anything additional to apply for that I haven't already tried.

Yep, that's a fair point that you can't handle the truth also brought up about the grass not being greener on the other side of the fence. I've learned that lesson the hard way about jobs. I'm still trying to get adjusted to permanent singlehood.

I paid $5 for the MixZing Premium music player so I could scrobble tunes to last.fm on my Android phone and because it is miles away better overall than the stock PoS Music Player, and to get rid of the ads. I was using Google Music, but the later incarnations of that player have rendered it unusable on my phone, due

Yeah, I agree, that's what makes the loneliness worse, yet that is also what makes the freedom better. I have a friend of mine in a bad relationship now, and he is so desperate for a girlfriend that he is keeping this toxic relationship going, but at least he seems like he's happy, but his s/o is quite a "charmer."

I honestly think a great many of us are not ready, nor will ever be, but that is also a risk we have to take when we meet someone. We have to weigh whether or not the pros will outweigh the cons and whether or not we want to risk it. Frankly, relationships mean exposing weaknesses and vulnerabilities and not just

Yeah, I agree. But nonetheless, I appreciate you at the very least trying to help with some sound advice. :)

Yeah, I'd like to do that, but I am barely scraping by at this point, and I am working with my therapist on some personal issues I seem to have, which prior to the last month or so, I have not been able to wrangle together. Once I fix these, or at least get a firm grasp on them, looks like in the next few months I may

That's pretty awesome about the old couple. It's nice to see that some people can stay together that long.

May to October. I loathe Nov. to April, especially since I live in Michigan. I don't care if cold and snow happen here, I don't follow the preexpected attitude that I am supposed to like them. Especially since local road comissions don't salt the roads off in a proper time frame and people have made it abundantly

Yeah, another single guy here, and that seems to me to be a level headed representation of marriage to me too. Most couples I used to know who got married are STILL together, but they get rid of their single friends they have known for years.

Hmm. Thanks for the info. I can at least try it for 10 days. That is unless they ask you for a credit card up front, then forget it. Did they ask you for billing info right away?

Yep, there has been alot of Taco Bell bashing in this thread. Not all of us are concerned with the "poison" we put in our bodies. I particularly like the Dorito Locos Tacos-flavored poison, along with some cheesy fiesta potatoes and some Baja Blast. Taco Bell is my favorite place on this earth to eat when I eat out,

WalMart really doesn't have cheaper prices overall, at least in my area, SE Michigan. Even with the commercials where they take a customer and compare prices to Kroger, not only is Kroger lower on a majority of stuff, but local chain Meijer is cheaper than both of them.

No, Subway's bread and toppings/condiments, and it seems its not just the Subway's in my area that have this problem, I see frequent complaints online too about them. and consensus to me at least seems that Subway are quite subpar compared to that of other chains. Plus, Subway doesn't have that amazing Rosemary
