No, unfortunately, that is not going to work for me. It would require me to go to downtown Detroit, at least 20 minutes out of the way and then when I get to the city I work in I am still 5 miles out of the way.

The reason I have not looked for another place is simply because I just moved into this apt. in Feb of this year, and one of the reasons was the utilities were included, another was at the time it was nearby the job I was working, and I had to find a place on short notice because the family member I was living with…
Thanks for this, I cried much needed tears of laughter. I also so wholeheartedly agree.
A cell phone is cheaper than a landline. I don't need cable. I do however need internet, and free wifi, libraries or elsewhere is unsecured and prone to snooping by hackers and other unsavory types and generally is not good all around. I don't really have the gas to go elsewhere, so I watch TV and use the internet,…
Yeah I tried the out of state thing several years ago. I moved to central Virginia and lived there for 3 years. Things didn't work out and by the time I left, I was more miserable than I was before I moved there. Moving out of state is not something I am willing to try again.
Thanks for the analysis. If I can get back on foodstamps, I'll look into Safelink.
Well I normally hate to get this detailed, but since it looks like we're going to play this game, here goes nothing.
Not really interested in keeping up with the Joneses, but when you pay your bills, and have no money left over to do anything, (eat out, go to the movies, sightsee, gas to drive to non-work places, date, drink, etc.), and everyone else you know manages somehow, how is one supposed to feel? I try not to let it bother…
Exactly.
This is full of heaps of awesome. I can't wait to see if I can free up some disc space on my machine. Much less, when I finally get my new PC, after I install Win 7, the disc space it will free up. Is it bad that I am this excited over a Windows Update thing?
Not really trying to piss people off, just hoping, as I am living on a budget, and could really use a low cost PC to replace my dying laptop, but I get the idea these sites are not for people like me.
If you have a generic car like mine, you can't spot it easily. How can you fix that? You just have to make it look different. While you can decide what sort of horrible adornment you want to use to ruin your car's perfect aesthetics, a piece of fabric works fine. You just need to take a brightly-colored shred (it can…
So if I name my own price, can I get a Nintendo DS, a new custom built PC to my specs, or a PS3 for $.01? Eh crap, guess not. They don't even have sell Video Game consoles or PCs. :(
That's a good idea, but if you want it breaded or grilled, it's not really the way to go. I just usually buy one of those big bags of breaded Tyson or store brand breaded Chicken Breast tenderloins, usually when they are on sale. They have been getting bigger and for how little I eat them, 1 of those big bags lasts me…
Thanks, I appreciate the compliment. Just need to work on some personal things to get to the be comfortable stage.
I am still struggling with depression, self-hate, and anxiety, amongst other things, I believe I have a personality disorder as well. I am trying to learn how to love myself, or at least be comfortable with who I am/in my own skin, and I am finding it an incredibly difficult process. It has been like this for me since…
I'll stick to Daria Morgendorfer instead, thanks.
I agree. I have read so many articles on building confidence, but they all seem like those late night infomercials, ala buy this now and increase whatever, you lose without it and it seems to me alot of confidence articles or exercises are built towards the extroverted folks, and the introverts get left out in the…
Now that is awesome. Implementation would probably cost a bit of $ though. But still, awesome.
Real depression isn't being sad when something in your life goes wrong. Real depression is being sad when everything in your life is going right.
