Well, you can't be 1-1 if you don't win that first game....

In terms of Bronco playoff games: Tebow 1; Manning 0.

I'm halfway with you. The first half hour or so was funny and interesting. The second half, though, was just crap.

How could you not add "Snow White and the Huntsman". That movie was truly godawful and, shockingly, pretentious.

I got a distinct "meh" reaction. It doesn't look much different than an Emmerich or Bay movie, except its from a better director so the storytelling might be better. At best, it'll be on par with his other English language movies. I prefer his foreign language movies. I think they bring out the best in him.

I get tired of FB at times, but it really has little to do with the platform itself, which I generally find useful. My problems with it have to do more with that the people on my list who use it regularly (meaning, post every day about every little activity and thought that crosses their minds), are the least

How about an empty chair GIF for Eddie Murphy storming out after losing for "Dreamgirls"?

And he's married to Claudia Shiffer, so, yeah, I wish my career and life were going as well as his, too.

Why is he "good luck"? Other than "X-Men", a pre-established franchise, has Vaughn ever had a hit movie? And the last X-Men was only a modest hit by modern superhero franchise standards.

I don't think Nolan is even under consideration, mostly because he wouldn't want to work on a movie he isn't involved with from the start. Since there's already been development meetings and a screenwriter is already working, I assume any director will have to take the story concept/story from what's already been

While not crazy about this choice (if true), it's better than names like McG or J.J. Abrams. I wasn't crazy about X-Men or especially Kick-Ass, either. I would've preferred someone more character oriented, like Rian Johnson, since that was the thinking behind the Irvin Kershner hire, and that worked out well. Vaughn,

That's why I said "most" not "all".

I said "most" (but you know you were conveniently leaving out that word, didn't you?), and if you look at the resumes of those I listed, I think my point is proven.

On another note, I think one thing that could prevent them from being a long term dynasty is the same thing that afflicts other teams: free agency. I think they only have a handful of their current roster signed through 2014 (fortunately, the core group), but they have big decisions coming up on Scutaro, Pagan, and

I think one of the problems with the 2011 team was they were beholden to a lot of players who had big 2010 post seasons (Huff, Ross) who didn't produce over the course of a long season. That and the Posey injury really hurt them. I agree that if they win this World Series, they have to be considered dynasty status.

Detroit might win one at home, but the Tigers just look befuddled. This is going to be just like when the Giants beat the Rangers: Texas was supposed to roll them with the unbeatable Cliff Lee in the first game. When the Giants put away Lee, the Rangers just looked shell shocked the rest of the series. That's pretty

I would add "Ghost Story" by Peter Straub. I remember reading that book one summer and it really got under my skin. Also, I've always preferred "Pet Sematary" to "The Shining", maybe because I've always preferred the Kubrick treatment to the King treatment.

Bradbury's short story "The Banshee" was also inspired by his experience working in Ireland with John Huston on "Moby Dick".

ha!

actually, as others have pointed out, there was a Carrie TV remake, only it's a few years older than I remember, so, yes, it does exist.
