There is absolutely no reason Stadia could not include mods. Steam already has integrated mod support through the workshop, and gmail lets you add “add-ons” to a application that is 100% local to Google’s servers.

I played through the first one entirely Single Player, aside from going around and messing in the Dark Zone (PvP) a couple times. I enjoyed it enough that the Division 2 is a day-one purchase, which I normally only do with XCOM and Elder Scrolls games, so yes... viable.

That flamethrower was amazing for the second half of the Stronghold.  Once the bugs show up the Colossus becomes the MVP real quick.
