Disney will do whatever makes Disney the most money. Disney owns Touchstone, and owned Miramax and Dimension for quite awhile. So Disney, through its subsidiaries, has put out Clerks,Pulp Fiction, Trainspotting, From Dusk til Dawn, Scream 1-3, Starship Troopers, Pretty Woman, and Bad Santa among many others.

Maybe if Logan, Bladerunner 2049, and Deadpool 2 make a butt-ton of cash and prove that R rated movies can make money we can get something... I am keeping my fingers crossed.
