I'm the opposite, not having cash keeps me from buying stuff. Mostly frivolous things, but still saves me money. When I don't have cash, I tend to think more on if I really want or need this.

Software is not the same as currency. If you copy a file, it's the exact same as the original, it is not a counterfeit. If I install a game and copy the game folder to another hard drive, that folder isn't counterfeit. It's the exact same as the original.

Something along the lines of Valve not wanting to charge people for DLCs that the PC were getting for free but Microsoft only allows 1 free DLC per game, the rest have to have a market place price. Pretty sure this would apply in the same situation…

God, I can only pray what you predict is true. Get that bland, overly polished, generic, copy and paste FPS off the PC.

It's about a month before release, the game is probably in production/about to hit production. Meaning that the leaked copy is most likely what you're going to see on release date, minus any launch day patches.

You also forget that as people are leeching they are sharing what they have already downloaded. 100 seeders and 1000 leechers still means damn good speeds.

@TuxRug: The pin can be replaced, but once the handle pops off the fuse is lite and there's no turning back. The pin is just the device that keeps the handle in place.
