Considering that this developer was also cheering when Total Biscuit passed on, it’s pretty clear that she’s a venomous toxic individual. If I had to guess, she was probably already on thin ice when this incident occurred. If so, it shouldn’t be a surprise to anybody that it ended this way.

PS: Yeah this article really

Yes, cause construction workers are clearly out there publically representing their companies in a highly visible manner daily. 9_9

Again, if you are representing your company, if you’re in a position where your statements are highly publicized, then you can’t get away with stuff like this. That’s clearly different

The conversation was fairly civil right up until the point outlined in the news story. What other people did afterward is irrelevant. She escalated the situation and then continued making things worse.

If you’re representing others professionally, you can’t do that. Period.

If you don’t want to be fired for being an idiot, then don’t be an idiot on social media! There is no situation where it’s okay for a developer to get into a public spat, especially with fans. You can falsely cry harassment all you want, but it doesn’t change that this behavior is unprofessional and that no business

Yeah I know, laugh it up.

Ahh yes, the filtering issue. The odd thing is, that I actually see MORE stuff like that since Yahoo took over. Their filters seem to block a lot of perfectly (or relatively) innocent content but can’t catch the porn bots.

It hasn’t affected me much personally, but it’s one of two examples I know of where Yahoo tried

Right. Like I said, I don’t much go in for these topics. In fact, I’m actually fairly conservative. (Libertarian leaning.) But I still hate seeing such mean and petty behavior directed at people, particularly when I’m trying to stick to fairly apolitical subjects. Not that those subjects stay apolitical. It feels like

You’re right that Tumblr is falling apart, but you’re wrong about the ‘why’. Yahoo purchasing the site had nothing to do with it. Oh sure, a ton of people complained, and the new “features” added to the site since then have certainly flopped, but the exodus began before then.

Most of the people complaining about Yahoo

I doubt that. Usually, falling sales prompt the GPU manufacturer’s to move forward, not back off. Think about it, “Oh crap, our sales are in the tank! Let’s do, nothing at all!”

They’ll probably just disable some cores and sell the stock they couldn’t get rid of at a discounted price, after the release of the next

They’re getting there, but they’re still a bit above where they were. Plus, considering nVidia is releasing a new set of cards in August or September, they really should be slashing the price of existing cards about now, if only to clear out stock.

Eh, unless you have a pressing need for a new GPU right now, I’d advise holding onto your money. Crypto mining died hard, about two months ago, but despite this, retailers have refused to lower prices back to where they were before it took off. It’s extremely odd because the cards aren’t selling at these prices

The first half of the 360's lifespan was great. The second half, not so much.

The first half had a good mixture of exclusive western titles and some fun Japanese gems. (Tales of Vesperia, Blue Dragon, etc.) But, during the next half of the 360's lifespan, it felt almost like Microsoft was complacent.

There weren’t

Well first, it isn’t a romance. It’s more a mixture of drama and adventure. Second, I’m juggling a dozen or more characters, and a ton of them aren’t human. So I’d have to change their character designs on top of that. As such, I don’t think that’d work. XD

Thanks. And yeah, it isn’t always easy. It takes a lot of work and emotional maintenance to stay motivated. That’s just part of the process though. Unless you’re gifted, writing takes time and effort. There just isn’t any way around that. So you kinda have to resign yourself and enjoy the little victories.

Good thing too. I’m up to 125K words in my fanfic. Now that I’m this far in, I’d kinda like to finish without getting a letter from a lawyer. XD

Honestly, I’d combine the characters that were split for Smash4, just because I liked the transforming mechanic from the previous games. The fact that it makes the menu a little easier to navigate and opens some space for other characters is just a perk.

Also, just because Nintendo spent 120 bajillion dollars, doesn’t

Yeah sure, I’m looking forward to it.

What? Am I supposed to stop enjoying life just because I can’t see how this ends for awhile? No, of course not. A little light-hearted romp will be a fun change of pace while I wait. Besides, I enjoyed the first Ant-Man. I thought it was rather underrated. So why shouldn’t I enjoy

I do agree with that to a degree. We do not need six Fire Emblem characters and it might be okay to get rid of gimmick fighters that don’t have much of a fan base or whatnot.

That said, we could probably stand to have a slightly smaller roster, at least among the basic non-DLC lineup. Not massively, of course. I can’t

I actually agree with trimming down the roster a bit. If Nintendo want’s to represent more games and franchises, it should be in the forms of items, stages, and so forth. For example, while I don’t think this is at all likely. An Undertale stage would be far preferable to a playable character from that game.

Yeah, I’ve got to agree. I’ve seen worse game to film adaptations, but it could’ve been so much better! True, the story is still good, but it’s pacing and even the animation is so bad that it robs it of its impact.

It just reeks of a quick and cheep cash-in of a popular game franchise. The only good thing I can say is
