“More than one instrument.”

Yes please! Seriously, Setsuna’s soundtrack was amazing at first but quickly became grating because every, track, used the same, blasted, instrument! I love piano pieces, but you some little diversity to prevent those sorts of tracks from becoming completely monotonous.

Not really. With Gift, you’re subtracting a letter, with Gin you’re making a substitution. To make a substitution, you need to both do more work and make more assumptions.

Therefore a one letter subtraction is closer in terms of spelling. I will grant you that gin has a closer pronunciation to GIF when spoken with a

The closest real word to GIF in the english language is “gift”, which is pronounced with a hard G. Since soft G’s are somewhat rare and there doesn’t appear to be any suitable modifier in GIF, it’s reasonable to similarly assume a hard G there as well.

Yeah, I’m essentially treating the game as if it’s under extended maintenance right now. I log in to do my roulette’s, try to get past that instance a few times, then log out.

It’s not like there’s an actual rush. The raids and whatnot aren’t coming out til July, and the even with those bleeding edge endgame content

It’s also getting a physical release (available from fangamer only,) AND more importantly, it’s getting an official Japanese localization at the same time. Currently, Japanese players need steam, PC’s, and need to be willing to download fan-made translation patch. The fact that the game is so big in Japan despite all

No, it is basic physics.

What you’re talking about isn’t a new phenomenon. It’s something we’ve known about for ages. When the body thinks it’s starving, it goes into a calorie lock-down mode, where your metabolism is slowed down as much as possible. Yes, this makes keeping the weight off when you’re using ultra

Yes, holy crap this!

Most of these were pretty on the ball, but number 2 was flat out wrong! It’s very basic physics. Our bodies run off energy, calories are a unit to measure the amount of energy you get out of food when it’s digested.

So, if you changed the instrumentation it could work without the vocals. That seems it would be a given, but I’ll concede the point. Regardless, Uematsu seems to prefer these sorts of vocals, as evidenced by pieces such as Melodies of Life, Eye’s on Me, Answers, and so on.

That may not be your cup of tea, but it works

I’m sorry but, you’re way off base here. If you pay attention to the instrumentals alone, it’s clear they fade back and become far more subdued when the vocals become prominent.

Oh, Sonic SatAM is excellent. Probably still the best animated Sonic series even after all these years. I’m sure other series have had better humor since then, maybe even better action and animation. But, SonicSatAM had a great balance of action, light-hearted moments, with occasional dark bits thrown in for good

You say this, but if this game successfully recreated the pre-nerf FFXIV Alexander Savage experience, you’d spend six months to beat the third floor and hate yourself a little more with each passing day. Basically, you wouldn’t be a happy camper! XD

I’d say, “one of the best,” in this specific genre. Although, I guess using the phrase, “second to none,” may have been a bit loaded. As for whether it counts as a JRPG, I’d say yes for the following reasons.

First, it follows most of the major mechanics of a classic JRPG. Mostly a menu-driven interface, JRPG style

Hmm, I agree with most of this, though I’m not terribly fond of Lunar 2's soundtrack. I personally would’ve added Dragon Quest VIII and Undertale’s scores to this list.

The former, because for the US release at least, it was a fully orchestrated soundtrack, and was really good and atmospheric for the most part. That

Okay, maybe TellTale will stop releasing endless additions to the Walking Dead, and make a The Wolf Among Us sequel. Yes, I know, but a man can dream!

Between Undyne and now Sidon, I’m just going to assume the internet has a thing for fish people at this point.

I’m betting that Dragon Quest Heroes is that size, only because Square Enix didn’t bother to trim down the file size any for the Switch Port. After all, the game isn’t exactly terribly expansive or anything.

Gonna agree with all of this. Not that we need all of these features day one, but, it’d be really nice if we could get at least most of them by the end of the first year. Preferably sooner or course, but I’ll take what I can get. XD

I’d certainly love to see more colors being used in consoles. Heck, I wouldn’t even care if they were mostly black or white with only a splash of some other color. I’d just like something to visually differentiate consoles from something like a DVD player or set-top box.

Wii U’s are mostly black.

Matte, matte everywhere!
