One person was a racist and sexist, ergo, the vast majority of criticism must have been racist and sexist.

Haha, no.

Ugh, you can’t let Ghostbusters go, can you?

Look, the backlash wasn’t about sexism, the backlash was because swapping out everyone for an all female cast was an obvious marketing ploy. The entire cast could’ve been male, and absolutely nothing of substance would’ve changed. Combine this with the fact that the movie

Lots of reasons for this really.

First, the lack of an endgame is kinda wearing on people. Without a real end-goal in sight it’s kinda hard to keep people engaged, you know.

Second, the violence is starting to grate on some people. Even though it’s TV-MA, most people still expect shows to pull their punches a bit on

Oh, they put Flowey in charge of the screen-roll I see.

I feel like this category is almost specifically made for Undertale. o_0

Dude, just chill a bit okay.

I’ve been apart of a few different fandoms, and the Undertale fandom is nowhere even remotely near the worst. Sure, there are some socially maladjusted people within it they can be obnoxious, but there are socially adjusted people that don’t belong to any fandom at all either.

So instead of

The Monster Hunter games are completely unrelated. They’re about tracking down and killing really big monsters with swords and stuff, then harvesting their body for various parts. Teeth, hide, meat, etc.

I love those books, and they’d honestly make for much better films than the Monster Hunter games. Still, Paul W.S Anderson. <_<;;

In the words of everyone with a rudimentary understanding of large predatory animals.

I might note that all of this is supposedly in reference to the Nintendo Switch Development Kits, which aren’t finalized. Not only will Nintendo not know the exact battery life is until they have the final retail models version ready to go, but dev kits often have radically worse battery life than the retail versions

“every issue feels engineered to try and explode the internet.”

So, Korean Teen Hulk didn’t work out I guess, so they’re just promoting She-Hulk. Well, there are a few small problems I see with this.

First, while some people may decry that She-Hulks name is derivative, people are still going to call her that. Fans need a way to differentiate between her and Banner after all. In

What am I supposed to do with all these Amalgamate’s!?

Considering that services like Dish, DirectTV, and local cable can cost the better part of a hundred dollars, it’s still cheaper to just pay for a few streaming services.

*Sigh*

Definitely a good list, though I don’t think I’d call this a definitive one. Lunar 2 for example, while excellent for the time, doesn’t really stand up in comparison to a lot of sound tracks on this list. Also I feel like perhaps you guys went a bit overboard with SMT related soundtracks.

Sadly this year’s slate of winners is kinda, I dunno, yawn inducing. I’m sorry but there just isn’t much here that I found particularly enjoyable.

*Shrug*

I’m going to agree with most of the things said here, but disagree on one point. The controversy about Ghostbusters wasn’t about sexism, that’s a weak intellectual cop-out.

Oh, that’s a shame. I’ve got the first five or do hardback omnibus volumes of this. I’ve been meaning to pick it up again and grab the rest but, you know, comics are expensive, kinda out of space of my bookshelf, etc etc etc.

Yeeeeeaah, here’s the core problem with Steven Universe fandom. The show kinda encourages shipping more-so than most shows, and people within fandoms are often at their absolute most toxic when they’re protecting their preferred ships. Of course, this isn’t the only activity that leads to toxic behavior, but oh boy is
