Well, the binding coil asked a bit more from players than not to stand in fire. XD

Oh, the first Alexander Savage raid was INSANE. It took about six weeks for the bleeding edge progression groups to clear it, and groups like these normally clear Wow raids and such after a few weeks. But the developers got the hint it sounds like.

Most the content in FFXIV is really easy actually. The only two tiers of content that actually ask much from players are the Extreme trials and the Hard-Core eight man raids.

There’s a reason why I’m thankful that the hardcore raids in Final Fantasy XIV are only eight man. Even getting eight people together on a regular basis can be an exercise in frustration. XD

Oooooh man, if this is about where you ended your gameplay, I’ve just gotta say.

finding myself largely agreeing with this list.

Aaaaaand thank you for re-opening this particular wound. >_<;;

This season was indeed pretty brutal. <_<;;

All the little pop culture references in FFXIV are always amusing. It looks like they may have even snuck a subtle little Undertale reference into one of the quest descriptions. I mean considering the borderline meme status the phrase, “gonna have a bad time,” has achieved. XD

Stale munchkins and sadness...

Yea yea, laugh it off. Ignoring people that are dissatisfied never backfires, ever! ;)

I’m not sure honestly.

I’m going to have to disagree with the bulk of the awards? I mean Mario Maker and Rocket League, sure.

Admittedly, I’d probably have a similar reaction if I killed goat mom by accident. T_T

Well, if you combine all the mobile app purchases I’ve made in the past four years and average them out. It probably wouldn’t come out to even half that amount spent per month.

The giant Primal, those creepy dolls, a rip off Goblin version of Voltron as a raid boss.

Yes well, more half hearted crap in that case. Earth to the executives at Warner Bros! Anything worth doing is worth doing right!

Right, they wanted Young Justice to sell action figures, because WB is stuck in the 80's for some inexplicable reason. This doesn’t make any logical since either though. Merchandizing may be a white whale for television executives, but if you’re going to chase it at least put in some flipping effort! This just looks

Yeeeeah, animation is off somehow. Lines are too thin, characters aren’t moving in the same zippy kinetic fashion as the original, and in all it just looks a bit more generic than the original. Voice acting’s a bit off off, and if this is the best dialogue they have to show off then I’m not expecting writing to pick

Alas, this isn’t really a surprise to me. I can’t name sources, but a friend of mine told me to expect something like this a little over a year ago.
